WE BUILD IN SANDWICH BUILDING MATERIAL
Advanced core material, combined with strong laminates, offers the ideal combination of strength, stiffness and toughness.
Structural cores and composite sandwich solutions mean higher properties in plastic composite material, and parts that provide optimum weight gain. In principle, one sandwich consists of two surface laminates which are glued or laminated to a core material between laminates.
In the case of load, laminate takes up pressure and tension and at the same time gives the construction strong solid surfaces. The core material absorbs all shear forces from loads and distributes them over large areas.
Compared to a single laminate, the sandwich construction offers great advantages in both bending stiffness and bending strength. By doubling the thickening of the core, a huge increase in stiffness in the panel achieves without significant growth week.
